Samsung’s First FE-series TWS Earbuds: Galaxy Buds FE
Samsung is preparing to launch its first-ever FE-series TWS earbuds, the Galaxy Buds FE. The design and key features of these earbuds have already been revealed through an official user manual that was prematurely uploaded to Samsung’s website. Additionally, more information about the upcoming buds, including the price, has been leaked.
Features and Pricing
The Galaxy Buds FE will feature 12mm AKG-tuned drivers and will be available in graphite and white color options. The leaked user manual showcased the graphite variant, which was also seen in a live photo. The buds will have a matte finish, while the case will have a glossy white paint. According to sources, the Galaxy Buds FE will be priced at $99.99, making them significantly cheaper than the flagship Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which debuted at $230.
Affordable Entry-Level Earbuds
This pricing structure is not surprising as the Galaxy Buds FE will be an entry-level product, unlike the Pro model. To make them more affordable, Samsung may have removed premium features such as wireless charging. The user manual did not mention wireless charging but only discussed wired charging through the USB Type-C port on the case. The earbuds will feature ANC, an ambient sound mode, Bluetooth 5.3, touch controls, wear detection, and a wing tip for a better fit. However, details about audio codecs and water resistance rating are currently unknown.
The Galaxy Buds FE Launch
At this point, Samsung has not officially announced a launch date for the Galaxy Buds FE. However, considering the latest developments, the buds could debut soon. Samsung also has other FE-series devices in the works, including the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. It is possible that all of these devices will be unveiled on the same day later this month or in October. Stay tuned for more information.
