Samsung Galaxy S24 Flagship Smartphones

Samsung is working on the next-gen flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The company plans to unveil the devices in January next year. Leaks have revealed key hardware specs and AI-powered software features. We also have a fair idea of their design thanks to concept images and CAD renders. Dummy units of the phones have popped up but they may be fake or inaccurate.

New Galaxy S24 Dummy Units

Shared on X/Twitter by @SonnyDickson, white dummy units of all three models are seen. They show details of the design from various angles, including button placements, antenna lines, rear camera array, speaker design, USB-C port, and SIM tray. Noted tipster Tevengnus has called these dummy units “fake” and there might be discrepancies compared to the initial CAD renders.

Possible Discrepancies

There are discrepancies in the fresh dummy units compared to the initial CAD renders. The antenna lines aren’t in the same place and the Galaxy S24 Ultra dummy doesn’t reflect the bottom speaker redesign. Rumors suggest that the switch to a titanium frame may have triggered this change. The new design may be due to manufacturing cost or material limitations.

Galaxy AI as Main Attraction

The Galaxy S24 series is undergoing design changes and notable hardware upgrades, but the biggest attraction may be Galaxy AI. This built-in AI tool is being integrated into One UI and processes all AI tasks on-device without your data leaving your phone. With the Galaxy S24 lineup about two months away, we may hear more about Galaxy AI in the coming weeks.
