Global variants of Xiaomi smartphones are set to receive the HyperOS update in Q1 2024. A list of devices that will be included has been shared by GSMChina, which includes 9 devices. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 series will come pre-installed with HyperOS, so they are not listed.
The first devices scheduled to receive the update are from the Xiaomi 13 series, including the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13T, and Xiaomi 13T Pro. The list also includes the Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 11T, and the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet.
The initial wave of devices set to receive the update has been confirmed by information from a Xiaomi server, according to GSMChina. Currently, the only Xiaomi devices running HyperOS are the flagship Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models, which are available in China. However, other devices in Xiaomi’s home market will begin receiving the update in December of this year.
HyperOS is expected to replace MIUI and comes with a rebrand and some UI changes. Initial impressions indicate that HyperOS looks similar to MIUI in terms of design. It remains to be seen if the global version will differ in this regard.
