Hey, have you heard? HONOR has just announced a partnership with Porsche Design. Some sneak peeks of the HONOR Magic6 Porsche Design have even leaked out. And guess what? The very first official teaser is out!
This teaser isn’t just any teaser. It’s an image that’s been shared by a bunch of bigwigs. Bhavya Siddappa, the head of global PR for the company, shared it via X. And Harrison Jiang, the company’s CMO, did the same on his Weibo profile.
So, what about the teaser? Well, it’s the first official look at the HONOR Magic6 Porsche Design. You can check out the image below. On the left, you’ll see part of the phone’s display. On the right, there’s a peek at the device’s backplate.
But here’s the thing. HONOR has been super careful not to reveal too much. Both of these are just the bottom parts of the front and back sides.
What can we see from this teaser? The edges of the display will be curved, that’s for sure. And there’s some writing on the back. It’s the ‘HONOR Porsche Design’ branding.
There’s a good chance that the backplate will be covered in leather. At least on one model. Rumor has it that more than one Porsche Design model is expected. But take this with a grain of salt. The branding on the back of this teaser doesn’t really match the leaked images.
So, when can we expect the HONOR Magic6 series? It’s set to become official in Q1 2024. We don’t have the exact launch date yet, but there will be several variants. The HONOR Magic6 is coming, along with the HONOR Magic6 Pro.
Uncertainty remains if both of these models will have Porsche Edition variants, or only the ‘Pro’ model. But one thing’s for sure. At least three phones are coming our way. The HONOR Magic6 Lite has already launched.
What else do we know? The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will fuel the HONOR Magic6 Pro. This handset is also expected to offer blazing-fast wired and wireless charging, top-of-the-line cameras and display, and more. So, stay tuned!
