RedMagic has officially announced the RedMagic 9 Pro and RedMagic 9 Pro+, two phones with minor variations. The primary contrast between the two is found in the battery department. The RedMagic 9 Pro has a larger battery, while the RedMagic 9 Pro+ has faster charging.

Phone Features and Specifications

Both phones are made of metal and glass, have a thin bezel, include gaming features, have a 6.8-inch fullHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and offer advanced cooling systems to sustain outstanding performance during gaming. They also have the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Camera and Other Features

The phones have a 50-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s GN5 sensor), a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit, and a 16-megapixel under-display camera. They also have an in-display fingerprint scanner, two nano SIM card slots, 5G support, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Availability and Pricing

The phones have been launched in China with global models expected soon. The RedMagic 9 Pro starts at CNY4,999 ($704) and the Pro+ starts at CNY5,499 ($755). Both phones are already available for pre-order in China.
