OnePlus 12 Display Announced by BOE

OnePlus and BOE have officially announced the display for the OnePlus 12. The display, known as the BOE X1 OLED, is BOE’s best 2K display to date. Contrary to rumors, the display’s brightness reaches up to 2,600 nits at its peak, just shy of the record of 2,800 nits. However, this is still incredibly bright, similar to the OPPO Find X6 Pro.

The display is an LTPO AMOLED panel, meaning it offers an adaptive refresh rate. It is likely that the OnePlus 12 will have a 1-120Hz refresh rate, as it is the standard for flagship devices. With DisplayMate’s A+ rating, the display is expected to be color-accurate and high-quality.

As for the release date, the OnePlus 12 is expected to launch either at the end of the year or in January. The OnePlus 11 previously launched in China on January 4 and took some time before reaching global markets. It remains to be seen if OnePlus will adopt a simultaneous global launch strategy this time.

Regardless, fans can look forward to a top-notch display on the OnePlus 12, thanks to BOE’s latest technology.
