OnePlus shed more light on the main and telephoto cameras coming to the OnePlus 12 via its social media channels in China. The Sony LYT-808 camera sensor was confirmed for the main camera, along with a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The Sony LYT-808 is a variation of the Sony LYT-T808 camera sensor used in the OnePlus Open and is designed for non-foldable phones. OnePlus claims that it is the most powerful sensor in its class.
The phone’s periscope telephoto camera will feature a 64-megapixel 1/2-inch sensor with an f/2.6 aperture lens, OIS, and 3x optical zoom. It will also include new OPPO image algorithms for clear and accurate pictures, balanced contrast, and natural color optimizations.
In addition to the camera details, OnePlus mentioned that the OnePlus 12 will support a 2K resolution ‘ProXDR’ display.
