OPPO Find X7 Ultra Specs

OPPO’s got some news for us today. They’ve launched two new smartphones, the OPPO Find X7 and the OPPO Find X7 Ultra. We’ve already touched on the launches, but now, let’s dive deeper into the OPPO Find X7 Ultra specs. There’s a lot to unpack here.

The OPPO Find X7 Ultra is a beast. It’s got a powerful set of specs, with a special focus on the camera department.

Under the hood, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. OPPO’s also thrown in LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. You’ve got three variants to choose from. One with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a 16GB RAM model available in both 256GB and 512GB storage options.

The display? It’s a 6.82-inch QHD+ (3168 x 1440) LTPO AMOLED. It’s curved, with a centered display camera hole. It supports refresh rates from 1 to 120Hz, and has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The peak brightness is a whopping 4,500 nits, with HDR mode reaching 2,600 nits and regular peak brightness at 1,600 nits. It also features 2,160Hz PWM dimming and Dolby Vision.

The phone comes with Android 14 pre-installed, along with ColorOS 14. It’s got two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM), an in-display fingerprint scanner, and is water and dust-resistant (IP68 rating). It supports Wi-FI 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 5G. And, it’s got stereo speakers.

Now, let’s talk cameras. The OPPO Find X7 Ultra boasts a ‘Quad Main Camera’ setup. OPPO’s goal was to offer four equally capable cameras. It’s the first smartphone to use the Sony LYT-900 camera sensor and to have two periscope telephoto cameras. All four cameras are 50-megapixel ones.

The main 50-megapixel camera uses the Sony LYT-900 sensor, a 1G7P lens, and has an f/1.8 aperture lens. It also supports OIS. The 50-megapixel ultrawide camera uses the Sony LYT-600 sensor, has an f/2.0 aperture lens, a 4cm macro option, and a 123-degree FoV.

The phone also features two periscope telephoto cameras. A 3x 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.6 aperture, using Sony’s IMX890 sensor, and a 6x 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with an f/4.3 aperture, using Sony’s IMX858 sensor. Both support OIS. And, of course, Hasselblad is part of the package. There’s also a single 32-megapixel front camera (Sony’s IMX709 sensor).

The battery? It’s a 5,000mAh one. It supports 100W SuperVOOC wired charging (charger included), 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

In terms of size, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra measures 164.3 x 76.2 x 9.5mm and weighs 221 grams. It’s available in Ocean Blue, Sepai Brown, and Tailored Black colors.
