OPPO Announces ColorOS 14
OPPO has announced the latest global version of its Android-based skin/OS, ColorOS 14 and has started rolling out that version to the very first smartphone in some regions.

ColorOS 14 is based on Android 14 and optimized its Aquamorphic Design. The company has announced some AI-powered features for improved efficiency, upgraded self-developed tech for improved performance, and improved safety and privacy.
Improved Aquamorphic Design
ColorOS 14 optimizes the Aquamorphic Design with new sound effects, color systems, and improved interactions, including Aqua Dynamics design and environmentally conscious Always-On Display.
AI-powered Smart Features
The AI-powered Smart Touch enables selecting content from the system and third-party apps. The brand-new File Dock on the Smart Sidebar allows easy content sharing. Smart Imaging Matting enables cropping multiple subjects from images and videos.
Upgraded Trinity Engine
The Trinity Engine is upgraded for smoother performance, improving ROM Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, and CPU Vitalization, as well as Smart Charging feature adjusting the charging current based on usage status.
Improved Safety & Privacy
ColorOS 14 utilizes underlying privacy capabilities of Android 14 and presents the Picture Keeper feature for preventing apps from misusing permissions for personal photos and videos.
ColorOS 14 Rollout
The global rollout for beta builds of ColorOS 14 has begun and the first stable build is expected in mid-November.
