A Few More Samsung Smartphones Receiving November Security Patch in US
The November security patch has been released for the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US. The foldable models have already received the update in international markets but the 2022 flagships are picking it up stateside ahead of a global rollout.
Galaxy S22 and 2021 Foldables Get November Update in the US
Factory-unlocked Galaxy S22 phones are currently receiving the November security patch in the US. The update comes with the firmware build number S90*U1UES3CWK1 and only includes this month’s security fixes. Carrier-locked units and international markets will receive the update soon.
Update Available for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3
The November update is available for both carrier-locked and unlocked units of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US. The update contains more than 60 vulnerability fixes and focuses solely on the latest security patches.
Android 14 Rollout Underway
Samsung has already started its Android 14 rollout for the Galaxy S23 trio and is expected to push the update to all eligible flagship models before the end of the year. A wider rollout is anticipated in the coming days, including the past three generations of foldables, the Galaxy S22 series, and the Galaxy S21 series.
