Red OPPO Find N3 with Vegan Leather Backplate
Two images of the red OPPO Find N3 have appeared online, revealing the phone’s thickness and weight. The phone will feature a vegan leather backplate and is slightly heavier at 244 grams compared to its predecessor, the OPPO Find N2, which weighed 233 grams.
Phone’s Thickness
Another image shows the phone’s thickness, excluding the camera bump. The OPPO Find N3 measures 12.4mm thick, making it thinner than the Find N2, which had a thickness of 14.6mm.
Comparison to Other Foldable Phones
The HONOR Magic V2 remains the thinnest book-style foldable phone at 9.9mm and weighs 229 grams. While the OPPO Find N3 doesn’t surpass it in these categories, it offers other advantages. It is lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and much lighter than the Google Pixel Fold.
Shared Hardware and Official Release Date
The OPPO Find N3 and OnePlus Open are expected to have the same hardware, meaning they likely share similar measurements. Both devices will be officially announced on October 19.
Design and Camera Features
The Find N3 will feature flat sides and a large camera bump on the back, hinting at a powerful camera setup. Rumored specifications include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 24GB of RAM, a 7.8-inch main OLED display with a 6.3-inch cover panel, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also rumored to have a 4,805mAh battery with 100W wired charging, a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto unit.
Gold Variant
In addition to the red variant, a gold variant of the OPPO Find N3 has also been revealed. Although it is not made of actual gold, it is named after the color. Evan Blass shared four hands-on shots of the gold variant.
